After finishing 5th in a semi final of the Group One National Futurity last Saturday night, Megan Keeping returned to Wentworth Park on Friday and was victorious in a 5th grade event over 520m.
Exiting from box five, the Jason Mackay trained chaser stepped well from the middle alley, taking the lead around the first turn, clocking a sizzling second sectional of 13.80. The daughter of Cosmic Rumble and Indigo Gem scored by a neck in a time of 30.15, recording a run home of 12.15.
Megan Keeping notched up her 9th career win on Friday from start number 18 and added a further $3,300 to her prize money total, which now stands at $17,615.
