The Race A Chaser Impact Syndicate went very close to securing their maiden win with Fatal Impact at last night’s Warrnambool meeting

Undoubtedly beaten by the draw, Fatal Impact (Gizmo) began brilliantly from her wide draw but couldn’t quite cross the dog from box 2.

That left the 2 on the rail and Gizmo posted out where she doesn’t like to be.

After giving ground around the corner she was able to get back down on the rail and finished the race off nicely.

There is no doubt with her consistent beginnings, Fatal Impact will be in the winners circle soon and may just be the type that is capable of going right on with the job once she breaks her duck.
