Race A Chaser’s Megan Keeping will make her debut at the Hunter Valley’s Maitland circuit this afternoon and will exit from box seven in race five, which is a 4/5th grade heat of the New Years Gift over 400m.
Coming off a solid third performance at Gosford last Friday evening over 400m, Megan is expected to go well this afternoon, despite being drawn out wide.
The daughter of Cosmic Rumble and Indigo Gem will jump from box seven for the fourth time in her career today, after previously unlacing in all three of her starts from the wide alley.
Greyhound Racing New South Wales Analysts’ have again predicted her to win, describing her as a “classy young bitch in astute kennel. Can be touchy at the jump but has high speed when she balances up and boxed to charge to the front. The one to beat.”
She is currently the $2.35 favourite according to fixed odds pricing on Bet365.
The race will be run and won at 5.17pm EDST.
