Shares now available in the highly promising Noakis Girl

RACE A Chaser Syndications has unearthed another quality greyhound and now you have a chance to purchase shares in a promising half-sister to Group 1 winner Zelemar Fever.

Trained in Victoria by Kelly Bravo, Noakis Girl has made a terrific start to her career, with four wins and a third placing from just five appearances. Among those wins are three best of night performances at Ballarat and Shepparton at her last three starts, and we are confident there will be plenty more to come.

Noakis Girl races under the ownership of the Race A Chaser Noaki Syndicate, with Syndicate Manager Tatum Osborne Young very impressed with how the black bitch, a purchase from the 2014 Bendigo R2R auction series, has performed thus far.

“We are delighted with how Noaki has started her career and we are very excited for what lies ahead,” Osborne Young said.

“Noaki was purchased from the Ready 2 Race sales last year as we felt that she had plenty of improvement on her trial efforts throughout the series – and we were correct.

“Noaki was found to have been carrying a sprained toe and a fractured fibula, but with plenty of time, patience and TLC she has blossomed into an exciting greyhound and we couldn’t be happier with her.”

Even trainer Kelly Bravo, who has put the polish on multiple Group winners throughout her career, is delighted with how the 25 kilogram pocket rocket is going.

“To be quite honest she has surprised us a bit,” Bravo said.

“When we got her we thought she was a little bit further along than what she was, so those first few runs where we didn’t have a very high opinion of her were probably a bit premature.

“She is really quick early and so far in her career she has been really reliable, on top of that she is a hard little chaser and she seems to have some brains about her too.

“She hasn’t really put a foot wrong since she started her career. At her first start at Geelong I think she just got a little bit lost in the field and didn’t really know what she was doing, but since then she has put it all together.”

While all her wins have been over 390 metres so far, Noakis Girl is set to step up in trip this week, with Bravo hopeful that she can run out 450 metres once she builds up her race fitness.

“Her run home at Ballarat was enough to suggest that she should be able to handle a rise in distance and the 425 at Bendigo this Friday will be a nice step up for her.

“If she gets a clear, unimpeded run we will be able to work out from her run home times whether she will get any further.”

Another plus for prospective buyers is that Noakis Girl hails from one of the best lines in Australia.

By Big Daddy Cool out of Noaki Pace (Spiral Nikita x Leprechaun Pace), her dam was a litter sister to 2011 NSW Greyhound of the Year Oaks Road. Noakis Girl is from Noaki Pace’s second litter, her first litter to Bombastic Shiraz including star WA chaser Zelemar Fever, the winner of the 2014 Group 1 Temlee.

In addition, Noakis grand dam, Leprechaun Pace (Brett Lee x Leprechaun Yap), was the winner of the 2007 Group 1 Paws of Thunder and is part of a stellar litter which included triple Group 1 winner Betty’s Angel and the ultra consistent Miss Mini Mouse.

Leprechaun Yap is also the dam of Bo Frazier, Talk’s Cheap, Glamorous (dam of super sire Magic Sprite) and Casey’s Angel (dam of All Strung Out, Waymore’s Blues and Anything Less) amongst a plethora of talented chasers.

“She is sensationally bred and we think she is going to have a very successful career – both on the racetrack and in the breeding barn when her racing days are over,” said Noakis Girl’s Racing Manager Kevin Pitstock.

“By buying into the Noaki Syndicate it gives people, who may not have big budgets to spend, the chance to be a part of one of the best breeding lines in the country for just a fraction of the normal cost.”

“Shares are available in Noakis Girl at a cost of $1,650 per 5% share. If you are interested in buying a share you can contact Tatum Osborne Young on 0429 090 683.”

Noakis Girl will contest race 12 at Bendigo this Friday where she will jump from box five over the 425 metre trip.
